For espresso, begin with an 18 g dose. For Bean’s blend, follow the roaster’s 2.5:1–3:1 brew ratio, targeting a 45–54 g beverage yield in 25–35 seconds. Grind finer if the shot runs fast and tastes thin; grind coarser if it chokes or finishes dry. Even distribution and a level tamp improve extraction. Allow freshly roasted coffee to degas before dialing in.
